Inside the historic Ibsens Hotel, you’ll discover local crafts in every nook,
art hanging on the walls, and a comfortable homeyness every step of the way.
Ibsens Hotel incorporates the neighborhood into the hotel: local art hung
on its walls, put its ceramic vases in the windowsills, and baskets woven by
one of their neighbours. From the lobby to the guest rooms; art and high
quality handicraft are what characterizes the hotel.
Located in the Nansensgade Quarter. Close to Torvehallerne (the city’s finest
food marketplace), close to the city’s historic lakes, and close to Nørreport –
Denmark’s busiest train and bus station.
OPTION 1: VARBERG
Varberg is a coastal town in Halland, about 75 kilometres (46 mi) from Gothenburg.
The town is busy in the summer, with lots of things to do, places to eat and beaches
to enjoy. The locals swim all year round, and Kallbadhuset (the cold bath house) is
what makes this a lot more convenient than other places.
WHAT TO DO
Visit Varberg Fortress, The Kallbadhuset (pictured below) and take a swing in the
ocean which is a staple Varberg activity.

Visit Sweden’s most beautiful beach, Christinehof Castle, explore the many adventure centres.
Alunbreket, The Coffee House made in the traditional half-timbered way and was built in the beginning of the 18th century. Kaffestugan is situated next to a creek and surrounded by the nature reserve of Verkaån. Rated one of the best café’s in Sweden for the last 6 years.

Örum 119 is a small countryside hotel with an eye for detail.
Working in tune with the seasons, allowing the surrounding countryside to provide
a shifting backdrop in all its simplicity. They make fantastic artisan pizzas and
