Orginally came in to contact with golf as a child whilst caddying for American Golfers. After this brief encounter with golf started playing as a junior golfer soon joining the National junior and club teams. His career background, knowledge and experience is in strategy, marketing and communication for world wide brands operating in Germany and Europe. At 35 years of age he started his own marketing and advertising agency that expanded and employed 60 people. He followed this with a Sports Marketing Agency that focused in the direction of golf.
For the last 15 Years he has been in management consultantcy for golf and international golf clubs. He has experience as the Vice President of a Golf Foundation, he was the Founder and CEO of World of Leading Golf whilst developing new golf concepts for the future markets. He coordinates golf brands with a marketing and sales orientated strategy with the main goal to get a return on investment in this market sector for his clients and partners. His love and passion for the game is as strong as ever and he still owns a single handicap.
NADINE SEIBEL

Nadine Seibel has been playing golf since the age of 11 and turned her hobby into her career 7 years ago. In the following years she worked as a golf manager at two renowned golf resorts in Germany, Golf Resort Achental, Grassau Bayern, and DER Öschberghof, Donaueschingen, Baden-Württemberg. During this time she gained a lot of experience and knowledge in all areas of golf management including marketing and sales and event management. She developed strategies to improve performance in all departments. One of her major roles was to develop the corporate/business element of the facility. With her experience in this key area she is able to relate to managers and provide solutions and concepts on how golf facilities can develop relationships with the business golfers and increase revenue by connecting to this high worth target group.
RAINER SCHILLING

He has had an interest in golf since his days studying communication research. Later in life as the owner of his own agency for marketing-communication, PR, Press, Media-Cooperations, Interactive Media and Events, he also organised golf-tournaments for his clients. These events brought them together with business-contacts. After stopping his tennis-career he started playing golf. One of his main interests is the golf-management and the PR, marketing and communication around golf.

Mrinal took up golf whilst at University after competing at junior representative cricket and badminton to a good level. He fell in love with the game and achieved a handicap of 8 under 3 years after starting. He has been a member of 7 golfer clubs, including The Wisley in Surrey. He is also the Founder and CEO of 2k Tiger, a business growth specialist company based out of West London, UK. Their aim is to help build better professional relationships for their clients. He has over 20 years experience in a range of sectors including, IT, Education, Marketing and Sport. In 2012 he set up platform to help coaches and golfers with industry specialist Adam Keable. He has worked on large and small projects around IT, events and training programmes including Saks Fifth Avenue, Merck, Rolls Royce, Lookers, Vodafone, Welding Alloys and BT. He founded a Branding and Marketing agency with two partners working closely with The Wisley. He is passionate about helping people in business and solve complex problems through strategy, creativity and innovation, introducing people to the game and of course playing golf now and then. He is an Ambassador for The Change Foundation and The Lord’s Taverners which support disadvantaged children through sport.

DAMIAN MACPHERSON

Originally a British PGA Qualified fellow golf professional who has been living and working in Eastern Europe for the last 20 years. Before moving to Hungary he played professional golf, he competed on the European Challenge Tour. He has been the national coach for the Hungarian and Serbian teams. He was awarded a Knighthood from the Republic of Hungary for services to golf for the development of the sport in Hungary. He has been working as a golf consultant for the PGA of Europe as part of the working for golf initiative under the R&A and had projects in Hungary, Serbia and Africa. During the last 12 years has been focusing more on the golf management, operations and golf development. He has been using his experience and knowledge of golf in Central Eastern Europe to advise, consult, manage and develop golf projects and facilities.

Chairman of the European Golf & Travel Media Association with around 100 journalist members from all over Europe providing them with a network to work. EGTMA also runs around 6 media events a year to various destinations. In the past we’ve been to Turkey, Ireland, Scotland, Spain, China and more. Every event sees a significant return on investment for the region and courses through articles and links in the European golf media.

The Company was founded by the Managing Director Garry Ashfield who has been in the Golf Construction business for over 30 years. Garry Studied Civil Engineering starting in his families construction business dealing with mass Earthworks to Road and Housing Projects. At the age of 24 he entered into Golf Course Construction, and was fortunate to work on some of Europe’s and the Middle East’s finest Golf Courses. From the Emirates in Dubai to Aphrodite Hills, Cyprus and Golf Eichenheim in Austria. Golf East has also been involved in projects in emerging markets to be new golf destinations and has recently be involved in projects in Saudi Arabia.
THOMAS SCHIFFELMANN

Handicap International e.V., Munich
Handicap International (HI) is a non-profit organization for the co-operation of developing countries and emergency aid that is active in around 60 countries. Its aims are to improve the living conditions for people with disabilities in the long term and support those who need special protection. He is also committed to a world without mines and cluster bombs, as well as against bombing attacks on the civilian population. HI is a co-winner of the 1997 Nobel Peace Prize. Handicap International e.V. is the German association of the international organization Humanity & Inclusion. Thomas Schiffelmann has studied Business Administration and has worked in several social organizations. Since 2012 he is at Handicap International, as Head of Marketing. He will support WGBC in the division for Charity and Sustainable Business.

Paul has an extensive background in B2B and B2C publishing and subsequently data management.
Paul strongly believes in the concept of Social Networks and inter community communication but advocates for respect of users personal information and data.
Evelyn Gruber
President Golf Travel Consulting
Evelyn has been passionately serving the global golf tourism industry in different capacities for 26 years.
An Austrian native, she founded her first golf travel business in the mid 90’s. By implementing an innovative shop-in-shop concept, Evelyn was able to scale the business into Austria´s largest golf tour operator before selling it in 2008. Since then, her footprint in the golf travel world has become enormous.
The travel aficionado has played and inspected 2000+ golf courses while experiencing 100+ golf destinations in 89 countries first-hand! Together with her Team, she has turned thousands of golf travel dreams into reality for discriminating golfers around the world. Evelyn has also hosted some of the world´s most notable companies and personalities at major golf events and has facilitated business relations through a dedicated focus on golf. In her consultancy role, she has developed and implemented proven strategies to capitalize on the lucrative golf travel niche for a wide range of entities including Ministries of Tourism, PGA TOUR Associations, Destinations, Luxury Hotels and acclaimed Golf Courses to name just a few.
Today, the passionate visionary spearheads 3 American-based corporations and later this year she will launch a golf tourism platform which will revolutionize the $ 30 billion golf travel industry.
Evelyn is an Affiliate, and member of major (Golf) Tourism and Media Associations including IAGTO, ASTA, GWAA, IGTWA and The A Position and serves on multiple Advisory Boards. She is a panelist for Golf Digest International. Her 11 World Golf Awards and a myriad of other accolades testify her accomplishments in the golf travel world. Golf Tourism is in her blood.
